Nick Paxson was the team's best overall performer with rounds of 72, 74 and 79 (225, +9) to finish in a tie for 34th place. Junior
Thomas Goss had the best score of the final round with a 73 after carding seven birdies on the day.
Senior
George Rohde, III, produced the team's second-best finish for the tournament after turning in rounds of 75, 76 and 76 for an 11-over-par total of 227 which put him in a tie for 39th place. Goss fired rounds of 76 and 81 before today's 73 for a 54-hole total of 230 (+14) to finish in a tie for 52nd place.
Freshman
Erron Vandemore's scorecard showed 75-77-79=231 to finish in a tie for 54th place at 15-over-par and classmate
Brendan Keating shaved five shots off his second round score with a 75 in the third round, turning in a total of 234 (79-80-75) for the tournament. At 18-over-par, Keating tied for 67th place.
The team returns to action next Monday with a trip to Hebron, Kentucky, for the Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational. The two-day event will be played at Tradition Golf Club Oct. 6-7.
