DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton volleyball team tallied its third-consecutive straight-set sweep Friday night at Frericks Center, downing Davidson 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-15) in Atlantic 10 action. The victory extends the Flyers' winning streak to 12 matches.

STATS OF THE MATCH
• Senior Alaina Turner led all attackers with a match-high 13 kills as the only player to reach double figures. Turner also tallied four blocks and served up two aces.
• Sophomore Amber Erhahon had nine kills to go with a match-high six blocks for the Flyers. Sophomore Jane Emmenecker set 38 assists and collected four blocks.
• Senior Janna Krafka got under a match-high 14 digs, set four assists and served up two aces in an all-around match for Dayton. Freshman Margo Wolf was the team's second-leading passer with 10 digs.
• Davidson was led by Ciera Cockrell with five kills, Morgan Shannon with seven digs and Mason Rooney with nine assists.
• Dayton out-hit Davidson, .411 to -.023, and the Flyers recorded 46 kills to the Wildcats' 18. At the net, UD tallied 10 team blocks while DAV mustered one.

SET-BY-SET
• Set One: Dayton rattled off six-straight points to open the match and the Flyers were up seven, 13-6, after a kill from senior Angel Agu. UD reached 20, leading by 11, on a kill from Turner and took the first set, 25-11.
• Set Two: Davidson kept it close early in set two, tying the score at three points apiece, before Dayton went on a 7-0 run to jump ahead 10-3. The Flyers got to 20 on a Turner-Brown double block and were are to get to set point at 24-8. The Wildcats held twice but Erhahon laid down the set-winning kill at 25-10.
• Set Three: The Flyers jumped out to an 15-3 lead in the third set following a 10-0 run for Dayton capped by back-to-back Davidson attacking errors. Brown smashed a kill to get the Flyers to 20 and UD finished off DAV at 25-15.

• Dayton continues its weekend homestand on Sunday with a 1 p.m. match-up against A-10 foe VCU. The match will be played at Frericks Center and admission is free.
