WOMEN'S SOCCER HOSTS DUQUESNE THURSDAY AT BAUJAN

Trick Or Treating Starts at 6:45 p.m. in Collins Gym

• The University of Dayton women's soccer team (8-9-0, 6-2-0 A-10) hosts Duquesne this Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Baujan Field. 

PROMOTIONS:  
•  Trick or Treat - Join UD student organizations for a Trick or Treat event prior to the women's soccer match on Thursday, October 29. Trick or Treating will take place in Collins Gym starting at 6:45 p.m. and will conclude at the start of the soccer match against Duquesne at 7:30 p.m.. All kids are invited to participate, and admission is FREE.
•  Hot chocolate giveaway for students
•  Costume contest at halftime so come dressed up!

FLYER FACTS
• Dayton is currently third in the A-10 standings, while the Dukes are in seventh place, with two matches left to play. The top eight teams advance to the 2015 A-10 Championship held Nov. 5-8 which will be hosted by Davidson in North Carolina. 
• The Flyers have won their last three A-10 matches: a 3-1 home win vs. Fordham (Oct. 18), a 2-0 road win at Rhode Island (Oct. 22) and a 6-1 home win vs. St. Bonaventure (Oct. 25).  
• The win over Fordham marked the 300th career victory for Flyer Head Coach Mike Tucker
• In the win over Rhode Island, Ashley Campbell scored both goals and became UD's all-time leading goal scorer. She has scored 59 career goals, overtaking the record previously held by three-time All-American Colleen Williams (2009-2012).
• In the win over St. Bonaventure, Nicole Waters had three assists, and in the process became UD's all-time leader in career assists. She currently has 52, which leads the NCAA for active career leaders. 

SCOUTING THE DUKES
• The Dukes have won three of their last four matches, with victories over Rhode Island (3-0), UMass (1-0) and George Mason (1-0). 
• Katie O'Connor leads Duquesne with 15 points (5 g, 5 a), Danya Fenech has 13 points (5 g, 3 a) and Linnea Faccenda rounds out the double figure point leaders for the Duke with 11 points (4 g, 3 a). 
• Kyra Murphy has 59 saves in goal with five shutouts and a 1.24 GAA.

THE SERIES
• The Flyers lead the all-time series 15-1-0 over the Dukes. 
• UD's only loss to Duquesne was a 3-2 setback on Oct. 1, 1999.
• Dayton's home record vs. SBU is 8-1-0.
• The last meeting between these two teams was Oct. 21, 2012 and the Flyers came away with a 4-0 victory at Baujan Field. Ashley Campbell who was a freshman at the time of that match, had a goal and an assist. 

BELIEVIN' IN BAUJAN 
• The Flyers are 214-61-20 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. UD owns a .762 winning percentage in those matches.  
• In the last six years, Dayton is 59-11-5 at home, an astounding .820 winning percentage at Baujan. 
• Dayton's first home match of the 2015 season vs. then No. 18 Ohio State drew 2,102 fans, the second-largest attendance for a UD women's soccer match at Baujan Field in program history.

WATERS AT THE TOP OF HER CLASS
Nicole Waters was named a Top 10 Finalist for the Senior CLASS Award
• The finalists were chosen by a media committee. Nationwide fan voting begins immediately to help select the winner. Fans are encouraged to vote on the Senior CLASS Award website through November 23 at:  www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/
• Fan votes will be combined with media and Division I head coaches' votes to determine the winner.

ALEXIS KIEHL NAMED A-10 CO-POTW
Alexis Kiehl was named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week on Oct. 26. She registered her first collegiate hat trick and added an assist in Dayton's 6-1 victory over St. Bonaventure. 
• The sophomore from Cincinnati, Ohio scored 42 seconds into the match, and twice in the second half, her seven points a career-best for her in a single match and in the league this season. 
• Kiehl also had an assist in Dayton's 2-0 win over Rhode Island, for eight points on the weekend. 

TERRIFIC TUCKER
• Tucker is his 21st season at UD and has amassed an overall record of 302-114-29 overall and 161-31-10 vs. A-10 opponents. 
• Tucker is one of just 17 active coaches to have won 300 matches in NCAA Division I Women's Soccer.

CAMPBELL'S CAREER
• Campbell is one of eight Flyers to score at least 20 goals and dish 20 assists in her career. She has 22 career assists. 
• Her game-winning goal vs. UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 20) was the 50th of Campbell's career. She became just the third Flyer to score 50 goals. 
• With her four points in UD's 5-2 win over Rice on Sept. 11, Campbell moved up to second all-time at Dayton for career points. She currently has 140.
• Campbell scored 18 goals during the 2013 season, which is tied for fourth best at UD for a single season.

WATERS CAN ASSIST YOU
• Senior Nicole Waters leads the NCAA for active players in career assists (52). She is also first in the NCAA with her .88 assists per game this year.
• Waters holds the UD single-season assists record with 18, which she set in 2014.
• Her 52 career assists rank first on UD's all-time Top 10 list.
• Waters is one of eight Flyers to score at least 20 goals and dish 20 assists in her career. She has scored 20 goals. 
• Waters was fourth, nationally, in assists (18) in 2014 and led the nation with 17 assists in 2013. 

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
• True freshman Kaelyn Johns has started every match in goal for the Flyers. She has amassed 68 saves in 17 matches. 
• True freshman Nadia Pestell has started all 17 matches for the Flyers on defense. She has logged 1,367 minutes. 

FANTASTIC FRESHMEN 
• Dayton's freshmen have a history of making an impact. 
• The Flyers have had at least one respresentative on the A-10 All-Rookie team every year since it started in 2000.
• Last year Alexis Kiehl and Nicolette Griesinger were both named to the A-10 All-Rookie team. 
• Kiehl was the third-leading scorer for the Flyers and Griesinger started every match and lead UD in minutes played with 2,135.
• This season, freshmen Kaelyn Johns and Nadia Pestell have started every match for the Flyers. 

FLYER SUCCESS 
• The Dayton women's soccer program owns an overall record of 426-181-46 since it became a varsity program in 1984. 
• The Flyers made NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014, advancing to the second round in both 2009 and 2010 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001.
