MECHANICSVILLE, Va. – The University of Dayton men's cross country team placed ninth at the 38th annual Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Championship at Pole Green Park. Saint Joseph's won the team championship.Â
Junior
Hunter Johnston took an early lead in the race and earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors with his Top 15 finish in 25:03.3. Johnston's sprint at the finish edged out St. Joseph's Quinn Davis by .4 seconds to earn all-conference accolades.
Fellow Junior
Kyle Lach finished 20th in a time of 25:08.2 and junior
Michael Tymoski was 48th in 25:39.9. Freshman
Spencer Danielson was 52nd in 25:45.4 and sophomore
Tyler Adgalanis rounded out UD's top five, finishing 58th in 25:49.5.Â
