AURORA, Ohio -
The University of Dayton men's golf team finished in third place at the Cleveland State Invitational. The Flyers had a total team score of 288-289-291 = 868 (+4). Kent State University won the tournament with a total team score of 296-275-276 = 847 (-17). Junior Nick Paxson tied for seventh place with a one-under-par. Sophomore Brendan Keating played as an individual and placed fourth overall. There were 78 total golfers in the tournament.
 
Dayton Individual Results: 
Nick Paxson tied for seventh with rounds of 69-72-74 = 215 (-1).
Thomas Goss tied for 11th with rounds of 71-72-73 = 216 (E).
Tripp French placed 13th with rounds of 74-71-72 = 217 (+1).
Caleb Wolters tied for 29th with rounds of 75-75-72 = 222 (+6).
Ryan Flick tied for 32nd with rounds of 74-74-75 = 223 (+7).
Brendan Keating played as an individual. He finished fourth overall with rounds of 70-71-70 = 211 (-5).

The Flyers will play in the Loyola Whistling Straits Intercollegiate tournament from Oct. 12-13.
