MAINEVILLE, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's golf team finished 8th out of eight teams in the Cincinnati Bearcat Classic held at TPC River's Bend (par 72). After two days of ocmpetition, the team's overall score was 336-326-334 = 996 (+132). 

Dayton Individual Scores 
Mika Suntay tied for 34th with an overall score of 78-81-86 = 245 (+29). 
Emily Connors tied for 42nd with an overall score of 87-84-80 = 251 (+35).
Jacki Berardi tied for 45th with an overall score of 88-80-85 = 253 (+37).
Jenna DiPaolo tied for 45th with an overall score of 86-84-83 = 253 (+37).
Amalia Emma tied for 48th with an overal score of 85-81-91 = 257 (+41). 

Coach's Quote
"The course was challenging and we were not up to it," said Head coach, Sally Kosters. "We did have some bright spots but we have work to do."

The Flyer women's golf team will compete in the Loyola Whistling Straits Intercollegiate in Kohler, Wis. beginning on Monday, Oct. 12 at 8a.m. and continuting on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at The Meadow Valleys golf course at Blackwolf Run.
