3-0 WIN AT GMU #UDVB'S THIRD SWEEP IN FOUR MATCHES

Dayton Remains Unbeaten in A-10 Play at 5-0

FAIRFAX, Va. – With its 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-17) win at George Mason Friday night, the University of Dayton volleyball team extended its winning streak to 10 matches at GMU's RAC gym. Dayton improves to 12-5 on the season and remains unbeaten in Atlantic 10 play at 5-0 while George Mason falls to 6-12 overall and 1-3 in league play.

STATS OF THE MATCH
• Senior Alaina Turner led all attackers with a match-high 13 kills to go with five digs and four service aces. Sophomore Jane Emmenecker set 31 assists and sophomore Amber Erhahon recorded three blocks.
• Senior Janna Krafka passed a match-high 11 digs and served up three aces while senior Jenna Jendryk tallied eight kills.
• George Mason was led by Morghan Martin with eight kills and Jordan Glass got under five digs.
• Dayton recorded 41 kills to George Mason's 23 and the Flyers out-hit the Patriots, .277 to .056 for the match.

SET-BY-SET
• Set One: Dayton rattled off six straight points to open the match and the lead was six again at 9-3. George Mason cut the lead to three, 9-6, but a 5-1 spurt from UD set the score at 15-8 in favor of the Flyers. A 6-0 run by Dayton broke open the game, 21-9, and the Flyers finished off the Patriots, 25-15, to take the first set.
• Set Two: The second set saw four ties in the early going but Dayton was able to pull ahead three, 8-5, after an Emmenecker-Erhahon block. The Patriots served up an ace to even the game at 15-all and the set was tied again at 21 points apiece. The Flyers closed out the frame with four-consecutive points to take the set, 25-21.
• Set Three: The eighth tie of the third set came at 10-10 but a 4-0 Dayton run put UD in charge, 14-10. Turner served up an ace to push the Flyer lead to eight, 20-12, but the Patriots pulled within
