DADE CITY, Fla. - On the second day of play at the Ball State Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play event, the University of Dayton men's golf team dropped its second-round match with Ohio, 5-1, to finish in a tie for seventh place over. Sophomore Nick Paxson posted his second-consecutive match win, 4&3 over Ohio's Grant Engel.

The two-day event was held at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club on the par-72, 7,153-yard South Course.

Dayton will return to action Feb. 23-24 at the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, hosted by Francis Marion.
