DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's tennis team lost 2-5 to Butler on Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14.
 
In the beginning of the match, Butler earned the doubles point despite the team of Marlys Bridgham and Mandy Marchant bringing in a 6-4 win at No. 1 against Haviland/Eaton of BU. Butler brought in wins in the first three matchups of singles play and another at No. 6. Jackie Kawamoto defeated Angelina Qin of BU 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 and Mandy Marchant beat Rachel Sutton of BU 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5.

Both Flyer tennis teams will take on Temple at the Five Seasons Tennis Complex on Friday, Feb. 20. Women's play will begin at 12pm and men's play will follow at 4pm.
