PINEHURST, N.C. - With a one-over-par 72, senior
George Rohde, III led the University of Dayton men's golf team on the second day of play at the 2015 Pinehurst Intercollegiate. As a team, the Flyers are in second place (311-303=614) among the 11-team field heading into tomorrow's final round. The event is being played on Pinehurst No. 8 at par 71 and 6,980 yards.
Belmont continues to lead the field with rounds of 297 and 301 (+30) and the Bruins' Ashton Van Horne is the leader of the pack with rounds of 69 and 72 (+1).
Rohde (80-72=152, +10) shaved eight strokes off his score from yesterday and is tied for eighth place overall with teammate sophomore
Nick Paxson (74-78=152, +10). Senior
Will Chambers is one stroke behind and tied for 10th place with his two-round total of 74-79=153 (+11).
Freshman
Brendan Keating improved 19 spots in the standings and sits tied for 21st after firing a round of 74 today (83=157, +15). Freshman
P.J. Malik is in a tie for 57th place with rounds of 88-83=171 (+29).
