SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Dayton women's golf team finished the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in eighth place with a team score of 335-334=669. The two-day event was hosted by Tennessee Tech University at the Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tennessee. The event's 36 holes were played on the Highlands Course at a par-71 and 5,803 yards.

Belmont took the team title with its team score of 295-307=602, 18 strokes in front of the second-place finishing team. Evansville's Kayla Katterhenry took the overall medalist honors with a 72-73=145. She defeated Belmont's Katie Story in a five-hole playoff, making par on the final playoff hole to clinch it.

Sophomore Jenna DiPaolo improved eight spots in the standings on day two, finishing in a tie for 30th place with her score of 83-79=162 while senior Lucy Frey also ended up tied for 30th with an identical score.

Junior Mika Suntay fired rounds of 82 and 87 for a total of 169 (+7) to finish in 41st place. Senior Mary-Katherine Slattery carded a two-day total of 87-89=176 to finish tied for 50th place at 34-over-par. Junior Jacki Berardi tied for 56th place with her score of 89-90=179.

Playing as an individual, junior Amalia Emma tied for 26th after rounds of 81 and 80 (161, +19).

The Flyers will return to action April 3-4 at the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic in Richmond, Kentucky.
