First serve for the men went off at 1pm on Saturday, March 21. During doubles play, the three duos of Flyer men came up short and did not bring in any victories for the team. In singles competition,
Zach Berry,
Josh Malyon, and
Simon Jayaram won their sets in the No. 3, 5, and 6 spots. The UD men lost to YSU with a score of 3-4.

At the conclusion of the men's match the UD women's tennis team took to the courts.
Marlys Bridgham and
Mandy Marchant defeated Burak/Nauon of YSU in the No. 1 doubles spot.
Katie Shepherd and
Carly Peck also brought in a doubles win in the No. 3 spot to earn UD the doubles point.
Jackie Kawamoto provided the Flyer women with their only singles victory in the No. 3 spot. The women's tennis team was defeated by YSU by a score of 2-4.

Next weekend, the women's tennis team will travel to Cincinnati to take on UC, currently 6-7 overall, on Saturday, March 28, at 1pm. The men and women's teams will then play against Valparaiso at home on Sunday, March 29, beginning at 12pm. Valparaiso's men are currently 15-4 overall, and their women hold an overall record of 2-9.Â
