DAYTON, Ohio - The first-place University of Dayton softball team heads on the road this Wednesday, March 25 for its first road Atlantic 10 conference games of the season at Saint Louis. Game one of the doubleheader is set for 2 p.m. at the Billiken Sports Center.
Recent ActionThe Flyers enter the series with an 18-9 record and are coming off a three-game series sweep of St. Bonaventure this past Saturday and Sunday at UD Softball Stadium. The first game was a close 3-1 affair, but the Flyers would control the final two games 8-3, and 8-0. The Flyers are off to the second-best start in program history in A-10 play. The best start was 7-0 in 2000 when the Flyers finished conference play 10-4.
Saint Louis enters the game with a 17-9 record overall. They opened conference play by taking two of three from Fordham, including an 11-10 come from behind victory on Sunday.
Series StuffDayton has has an all-time record of 5-16 against Saint Louis. They last played in 2014 when the Billikens swept the season series 2-0.
