Box Score 2 CLEARWATER, Fla. – The University of Dayton softball team (9-8) ended day two at the USF Under Armour Showcase with two more wins. The Flyers are now on a four game win streak after defeating Penn and Robert Morris on Saturday.

Natalie Mariano hit a grand slam for the Flyers, and junior
Kennedy Haynes went 2-for-3 at the plate. Freshman
Kayla Haberstich had a 2-RBI double for the Flyers and
Gabrielle Snyder recorded a double as well.

Manda Cash pitched a solid game for the Flyers fanning nine in 6.0 innings. Sophomore
Gabrielle Snyder relieved Cash in the seventh and locked it down for Dayton. Snyder struck out two and walked one, securing the Flyer victory over Penn 8-2.
Game 2 Box Score Dayton 1 Robert Morris 0Game two against Robert Morris (8-9) was a pitchers battle.
Kayla English was lights out for the Flyers in the circle. English pitched a complete game with six strikeouts and one intentional walk.
Gabrielle Snyder had the lone RBI for the Flyers on a single to shortstop in the bottom of the third. That lone run proved to be enough for Dayton who prevailed 1-0 over the Colonials.
Dayton will conclude play in the USF Under Armour Showcase on Sunday when they face North Florida at 11:15.
