WOMEN'S GOLF IN FIFTH AFTER SECOND DAY OF #MAACGOLF TOURNEY

Frey Moved Up One Spot in Individual Standings, DiPaolo Right Behind Her

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - With two rounds complete at the 2015 MAAC Championship, the University of Dayton women's golf team is in fifth place with a 36-hole total of 316-327=643 (+67). Senior Lucy Frey continues to lead the Flyers and moved up one spot in individual standings to sit in a tie for ninth place out of 40 competitors with her score of 78-80=158 (+14). The three-round event is being held at Disney's Magnolia Course at par 72 and 6,018 yards.

Albany continues to lead the pack and is six strokes ahead of second-place Siena with its scores of 303-320=623 (+47). Quinnipiac's Nicole Scola and Fairfield's Emma Ritzman jumped from fourth to first after the second round and are tied at six-over-par 150.

Just two strokes behind Frey is sophomore Jenna DiPaolo who improved four spots in the standings with her score of 79-81=160 (+16) to sit tied for 11th place. Junior Mika Suntay holds the team's third-best score after two rounds at 79-82=161 (+17). moving up two spots to t-13th.

Freshman Emma Meyer is currently tied for 20th place with a score of 80-84=164 (+20) and junior Amalia Emma is in a tie for 33rd place after firing rounds of 85-86=171 (+27).

The final rounds of the Flyers' first MAAC Championship will get started at 8:15 a.m Sunday with tee times. You can follow live scoring of the event every three holes via GolfStat.com and live coverage will be available on WatchESPN.
