HARMONY, Fla. - Led by sophomore
Nick Paxson, the University of Dayton men's golf team finished in sixth place at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship with a score of 289-293-294=876 (+12). Paxson tied for fifth place among 55 competitors after firing rounds of 70-72-73=215 (-1). The three-day event was held at Harmony Golf Preserve and the course was played at par 72 and 7,106 yards.
VCU claimed the team title with rounds of 286-286-282=854 (-10) and the Rams' Adam Ball earned medalist honors with his score of 66-68-68=202 (-14), seven strokes ahead of the second-place finisher.
Junior
Thomas Goss tied for ninth place overall after carding rounds of 72-73-71=216 (E) and freshman
Brendan Keating tied for 21st place with a score of 73-74-74=221 (+5). Senior
George Rohde, III finished the last competition of his collegiate career tied for 34th with his 54-hole total of 74-75-76=225 (+9) and junior
Matt Fazio was the fifth Flyer competing and finished tied for 39th 74-74-79=227 (+11).
