DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton men's golf head coach Gip Hoagland has announced the team's award winners along with the 2015-16 captains. Rising-senior Thomas Goss and rising-junior Nick Paxson will lead the Flyers next season as co-captains.

The Flyers recently celebrated the 2014-15 season and their senior team members at the squad's annual team banquet. Senior George Rohde, III was honered as the team's MVP while senior Craig Purpus was given the Coach's Award.

Dayton closed out the 2014-15 season with a sixth-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship with Paxson leading the team as he tied for fifth place out of 55 competitors. Paxson posted the team-low average of 74.89 and he carded a career-low round of 67 (-3) at the William and Mary Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate in March.
