PHILADELPHIA – The University of Dayton rowing team concluded the 2015 season at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta today.
 
The Flyers' Novice 4+ took third place in their semifinal. Clemson won in 7:46.56, followed by Bowdoin, which both advanced to the finals. Dayton was edged with a time of 7:56.869. The Novice 4+ boat for UD: Patricia Santoni (coxswain), Rebecca McDonald, Kristen Hackel, Sarah Byrd and Brianne Hollandsworth.
 
Dayton's V8+ advanced to the petite final with a time of 6:44.846 and taking fourth place in its semifinal. The Flyers took fifth place in the final in 6:53.626. Saint Joseph's won in 6:46.620, Temple was second in 6:48.662, Fordham third in 6:49.866 and Colgate in 6:52.329. The V8+ includes: Madison Doty (coxswain), Allison Martie, Kaleigh Barkaszi, Allie Rogers, Emma Tokar, Mary Willard, Erin Mohney, Kayla Contardi and Rosie Perez.
