CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's cross country team competed in its second meet of the season on Saturday at the Friendship Invitational.
The Flyers finished second overall and sophomore runner
Emily Leonard finished first individually in her second consecutive meet. Teammate and freshman
Taylor Vernot had a standout performance as well, finishing runner-up to Leonard with her personal best.
"We had an average day today," stated head coach
Sarah Haveman. "We are on the right path and just need everyone to take that next step."
