YORKTOWN, Ind. – The University of Dayton women's golf team finished 10^th out of 16 teams after three rounds at The Players Club in the Ball State Cardinal Classic. At the conclusion of the two-day tournament the Flyers posted a team score of 317-313-309 = 939 (+75).
 
Dayton Individual Scores
Jenna DiPaolo tied for 30^th out of 84 with a score of 79-77-75 = 231 (+15).
Jacki Berardi tied for 47^th out of 84 with a score of 77-78-80 = 235 (+19).
Emily Connors tied for 58^th out of 84 with a score of 79-81-78 = 238 (+22).
Amalia Emma tied for 60^th out of 84 with a score of 82-81-76 = 239 (+23).
Mika Suntay tied for 68^th out of 84 with a score of 86-77-83 = 246 (+30).
 
Making Adjustments
UD finished play on day one in 11^th place but improved in the final round to finish the tournament in 10^th. This push on the final day of competition was led by Junior, Jenna DiPaolo who improved from 41^st place after day one to 30^th place at the end of day two, shooting a 75 (+3) in the third round.

"We had a really great tournament with each of our five players contributing with rounds in the 70s," said head coach, Sally Kosters. "The course was set at 6200 yards so low scores are even tougher to get. Jenna DiPaolo had a hot putter. Jacki Berardi made up and downs. Emily Connors was long and straight off the tee. Mika Suntay came back in the 2^nd round. Amalia Emma shot a career low. It was fun!"
