DAYTON, Ohio – After falling behind early to Kennesaw State and trailing at the half, the University of Dayton scored 17 unanswered points and improved to 3-0 on the season with a 31-27 victory on Saturday night at Welcome Stadium.Connor Kacsor tallied his second straight week of 200+ yards and three scores on the ground, leading the Flyers with 229 rushing yards on the night.SCORING• Kennesaw State opened the game with an 80-yard run to take a lead on the opening possession of the game, Dayton blocked the kick to make the score 6-0.
• The Owls expanded their lead to 13-0 with a short run that capped off a 6-play, 48-yard drive.

Cory Stuart on a 20-yard pass for Dayton's first score of the night, making the score 13-7.
• KSU added to their first-half lead with a one-yard run to go up 20-7.
• Kacsor punched in his first touchdown of the night from two yards out to make the score 20-14.
• Kennesaw State answered right back with their fourth rushing TD of the night to make the score 27-14.
• Shortly before the end of the first half, Kacsor found the endzone for the second time and made the score at the half 27-21.
• The lone second-half touchdown came on Kacsor's third score of the night, putting the Flyers on top 28-27 in the meantime.

William Will knocked through a 37-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to bring the game to the final score of 31-27.
• KSU had the ball one more time, and reached the Dayton 37 yard line before turning it over on downs.
• The Flyers kept the ball for the game's final 4:38, clinching the win on a 10-yard

• After allowing 295 yards in the first half, the Flyer defense stepped up and allowed just 93 yards in the second stanza.
• The Owls rushed for just 88 yards in the second half after piling up 254 in the first.

NOTES• Dayton has scored in 434 consecutive games, the longest active streak in in college football. The streak is also the FCS record, and goes back to 1976.
• Tonight was the first meeting between Dayton and Kennesaw State, as KSU is in its first season in the FCS.
