COACH ORDWAY'S COMMENTS
"The course was in really good shape today," said head coach
Jason Ordway. "The competition was really good. The wind picked up with 20-25 mph winds in your face on part of the course that you run three times, so initially we were a little bit disappointed in our performance, but then the results got posted and we were 28
th place. Our goal was to get Top 30 so we accomplished that. We ran really strong as a team. We closed really well over the last 3K. We had some guys jump up 30 places so they ran smart. We ran a little more within ourselves like we talked about in our team meeting. We came out here and executed and ran a really good race. We were able to knock off a couple teams in our region. We had a strong effort.
Hunter Johnston ran the kind of race we know he is capable of.
Chris Negri ran a great effort as well as a two-man and
Tyler Adgalanis really stepped up today.
Ethan Louis coming off an injury was our fourth-man and is coming on at the right time. I'm feeling really good about where we are at heading into conference. Everything is funneling into to how we want it to and we have two weeks to get ready."
