KETTERING, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished in second place Tuesday with a score of 289-299=588 (+20) at the Flyer Invitational. Senior Nick Paxson was the team's top finisher in third place.

The two-day event was held at NCR Country Club in conjunction with Dayton's women's team who also hosted the Flyer Invitational. The men played on the on the South Course at 7,100 yards with a par of 71.

Michigan was the overall team winner with a score of 284-296=580 (+12) while the Wolverines' Ian Kim and Nick Carlson tied for first place with a two-round total of 142 (E). Kim won a playoff between the two and was named the tournament medalist.
