DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team is set to participate in the Firestone Invitational hosted by Akron Oct. 3-4. The 54-hole event will be played on the North Course at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, and the course will play to 7,125 yards at par 72.

In addition to Dayton and host Akron, Ball State, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Francis Marion, Furman, Georgetown, Illinois State, Marshall, Ohio, Ohio Dominion, South Carolina Aiken, Western Kentucky and Xavier will be competing. The first round wll tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday with two rounds of continuous play.
