AKRON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team took fourth place Tuesday at the Firestone Invitational hosted by Akron. The Flyers' team score for the two-day event was 282-285-293=860 (-4) while senior Nick Paxson led the team with his score of 71-68-72=211 (-5).

Cincinnati took the team title (850, -14) while the Bearcats' Austin Squires took home medalist honors with his event total of 69-68-68=205 (-11).

In today's final round, the Flyers posted 16 birdies as a team led by junior Brendan Keating with six.
