• The University of Dayton women's soccer team (6-9-3, 4-4-2 A-10) is the No. 7 seed in the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship and will face the No. 2 seed St. Louis Billikens (14-3-2, 7-1-2 A-10) Thursday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. in the quarterfinals on the campus of the University of Rhode Island at URI Soccer Complex.
• The winner advances to the semifinals to take on the victor of the No. 3 seed Duquesne vs. No. 6 seed George Washington match. That semifinal match will be Friday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. at URI Soccer Complex.
• This is the first match of the eight-team, three-round championship.
• The first two rounds will be streamed for free on the A-10 Network, while Sunday's Championship will air on the American Sports Network (ASN).
• The championship winner will earn the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
THE A-10 FIELD
• Dayton is 1-3-1 this season against the teams that made the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship.
• The Flyers defeated host Rhode Island, 2-0 at Baujan Field.
• The three losses were against George Mason (2-1 on the road), Fordham (2-1 on the road) and Duquesne (2-0 on the road).
• Dayton tied Saint Louis 1-1 in double overtime at Baujan Field.
• UD did not face No. 1 seed Saint Joseph's or No. 6 seed George Washington during the 2016 regular season.
DAYTON'S A-10 BACKGROUND
• Dayton has won the A-10 Tournament Championship more than any other team in the conference: nine times (1996, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014).
• UD has also won or shared 11 Atlantic 10 Regular Season titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2013). The next closest is Massachusetts with five.
THE SERIES vs. SAINT LOUIS
• The Flyers lead the all-time series 9-2-2 over the Billikens and are unbeaten in the last 10 meetings, including a 1-1 double overtime tie vs. SLU at Baujan Field this year in the conference opener (Sept. 29).
• Prior to that draw, the last four Flyer wins over the Billikens have been decided by one goal. (1-0 in 2015, 3-2 in 2014, 3-2 in 2013 and 1-0 in 2012).
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
• Saint Louis concluded the regular season 14-3-2 overall and 7-1-2 (second place) in the A-10.
• The Billikens, who are making their first A-10 Championship appearance since 2013, are ranked No. 3 in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region.
• SLU's .789 winning percentage is the second-best regular-season mark in program history, and their 14 victories tied the 1999 team for the most regular-season wins in program history.
• A-10 First Team forward Danielle Tolmais, a senior, leads the Billikens with 10 goals scored and 23 points.
• Senior Kacey Bright was named 2016 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year and a First Team defender.
• Junior goalkeeper Mary Niehaus was named First Team All-Atlantic 10. She owns a .71 GAA (second in the A-10) and .808 save percentage (fourth in the A-10).

• Two-time First Team All-Atlantic 10 forward (2015 & 2016)
Alexis Kiehl accounts for 15 of UD's 28 goals scored this season. She leads the Flyers with 33 points (15 goals, 3 assists). She is currently ninth in the nation in NCAA DI women's soccer for total goals scored.

Libby Leedom has scored five goals, has three assists, and is Dayton's second-leading scorer this year. Leedom was also named to the A-10 All-Academic Team this year.

Caroline Mink has scored two goals and had one assist this season. Her first collegiate goal was in the 1-1 tie vs. No. 2 seed Saint Louis (Sept. 29).

Madeleine Morrissey scored her first collegiate goal against Xavier (Sept. 2), Livingston scored her first collegiate goal, the game-winner, in her first collegiate start in Dayton's 3-0 win over Purdue (Sept. 4); and redshirt freshman
Sara Robertson scored her first collegiate goal against Omaha (Sept. 11) in UD's 2-1 victory.

Kaelyn Johns started every game in goal as a true freshman last year. She finished her rookie campaign with 79 saves and a 1.65 GAA. She registered her first shutout of the 2016 season in UD's 3-0 win over Purdue, tallying a career-high eight saves. She tied her career high with eight saves in a 5-0 Flyer win at Davidson (Oct. 6). She has four shutouts this season. She is a two-time A-10 Defensive Player of the Week.
TERRIFIC TUCKER
• UD's 3-1 win over Fordham on Oct. 18, 2015 at Baujan Field marked the 300th career victory for Coach
Mike Tucker. He was one of just 17 active coaches to have won 300 matches in NCAA Division I Women's Soccer. He will retire following the end of the 2016 soccer season.
ACADEMIC HONORS FOR LEEDOM
Libby Leedom was selected to the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team. This accolade recognizes the nation's leading student-athletes for their exemplary athletic and academic accomplishments. On the pitch, the senior midfielder from Florence, Ky. has scored five goals, has one assist, and possesses 11 points this season. In the classroom, Leedom has a 3.91 G.P.A with a double major in pre-medicine and psychology.
