KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team continued its roll in the Atlantic 10 Championships on Friday night, upending No. 6 seeded George Washington behind a two-goal performance from
Alexis Kiehl. With the 2-0 victory, the Flyers advance to the A-10 Championship Final.
The final match will be played at the URI Soccer Complex at noon on Sunday, Nov. 6. Dayton faces the winner of top-seeded Saint Joseph's and No. 4 seed George Mason.
The A-10 Championship Final will be available to approximately 40 million households across 23 states and 41 markets, the largest of which include New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Raleigh and Baltimore. The game will be carried live by SNY (New York and available nationwide on DIRECTV), NESN-Plus (New England) and ASN's 24/7 channels in 22 different markets.
STAT OF THE MATCH
• Junior
Alexis Kiehl once again led the Flyers with two goals, her 17th and 18th on the season.Â

Libby Leedom notched her fourth assist on the year on Kiehl's second goal, tying her for the team lead with three others.
• Sophomore
Keagin Collie also tallied her third assist of the season on Kiehl's second goal.
• Fellow sophomore
Kaelyn Johns notched her second shutout of the A-10 Championships and her fourth in the past six matches.
• Dayton now has 14 consecutive wins against George Washington, dating back to the 1998 season.Â
• In the last five matchups, the Flyers have outscored the Colonials 17-1.

• 46th minute – After a scoreless first half, the Flyers jumped out with the lead early in the second stanza when
Alexis Kiehl capitalized on a George Washington turnover and beat the keeper one-on-one for her 17th goal of the season. (Dayton 1, George Washington 0)
• 59th minute – Dayton struck again thanks to beautiful play in the midfield, first on a pass from
Keagin Collie to
Libby Leedom, and then on a connection from Leedom to Kiehl that resulted in the junior's second goal of the night. (Dayton 2, George Washington 0)
