DAYTON, Ohio - It's the final week of regular-season play and the University of Dayton women's basketball team is set to play host to Saint Louis on Wednesday evening. Tip-off between the Flyers and the Billikens is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast regionally on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. A free video stream for those outside the viewing area will also be provided via the A-10 Network.

About the FlyersIn four of Dayton's (13-12, 6-8 A-10) eight conference losses, the margin of defeat has been five points or less including Sunday's overtime loss to Duquesne (76-72). After putting together a string of five-straight league wins, the Flyers have now dropped three in a row. Dayton is led by sophomore

Scouting Saint LouisSaint Louis (21-6, 11-3 A-10) is riding a three-game winning streak and the Billikens sit in a tie for second place in A-10 standings with only three conference losses on the season. Most recently, SLU picked up a narrow 51-49 win at Fordham on Sunday. The Billikens are led by reigning A-10 Player of the Week Jackie Kemph with 16.3 ppg. (3rd A-10) and 7.2 apg. (1st A-10) while Sadie Stipanovich grabs a squad-best 5.9 rpg.
Last Time OutIn a game with 10 ties and 11 lead changes, Dayton battled then-23rd ranked Duquesne into overtime but fell to the Dukes, 76-72. A tough night at the free throw line proved to be costly as the Flyers made 17 of 30 attempts (56.7%). Sophomore
Jenna Burdette tallied her first career-double, albeit untraditionally, with a career-high 14 assists and 10 rebounds. Junior

The SeriesIn 32 meetings between Dayton and Saint Louis, the Flyers have come away winners 25 times. Most recently, the two squared off in St. Louis on Jan. 16 with the Billikens claiming a 70-56 victory in Chafeitz Arena. Prior to the loss earlier this season, UD had won 15 straight against SLU.

Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova averages 2.30 blocks/game for her career which ranks 16th among all Division I active players while her career total of 271 blocks ranks eighth nationally among all DI actives. With five blocks at Duquesne on Jan. 3, Cornélie-Sigmundová's career blocks total ranks her FIRST in Dayton program history - surpassing the previous record holder, Michele Kruty (220; 1984-88), and breaking a program record that stood for 28 seasons. Her career-high nine blocks against VCU on Jan. 13 is the second-most blocks in one game all-time by a Flyer.
Burdette in the A-10Averaging a team-best 4.7 assists/game, sophomore
Jenna Burdette ranks fifth in the Atlantic 10. She can also be found in several other categories ranked among the best in the league: third with a .391 three-point field goal percentage, eighth with an .800 free-throw percentage, ninth with a 1.3 assist/turnover ratio and 24th with 11.2 ppg.

Jenna Burdette recorded her first career double-double against Duquesne on Feb. 21 with a career-high 14 assists and a career-high-tying 10 rebounds. The 14 assists ties the program record for most in a single game. Other former Flyers that tallied 14 assists in one game were Stefanie Miller (11/21/03 vs. Boise State) and Pam Palmer (1/3/82 vs. Ohio State).
First Half Success = Second Half VictoryDayton is 10-3 this season when leading at halftime. The Flyers are 3-9 when either trailing at the half or tied at halftime.
70'S the Magic NumberSince the 2009-10 season, Dayton is 120-13 (.902) when scoring 70 or more points, including 24-2 in 2014-15. Three Points of ExcellenceDayton has hit at least one three-point shot in 473 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation. The Flyers made a program-record 15 three-point field goals against Buffalo in the Connecticut World Vision Classic on Nov. 25, 2011. Dayton tied the record with 15 vs. Wright State on Nov. 28, 2012.
Speaking of Threes ...Cincinnati native freshman
Lauren Cannatelli has made a team-best 56 three-point baskets this season which is a new program record among Flyer freshmen. Former Flyer Justine Raterman sank 47 three-pointers her first year on the team (2008-09). Cannatelli's 36.6 three-point field-goal percentage (56-153) is the fifth-best average by a UD freshman. Additionally, Cannatelli's 56 made three-point baskets ranks sixth all-time for treys made in a season.
We've Got an AudienceWith a crowd of 10,159 at UD Arena for Dayton's season opener against Yale on Nov. 13, the Flyers currently boast the seventh-most attended game this season. The record crowd was due to the overwhelming success of UD's annual School Day game, a chance for local school-aged children to take a field trip with the Flyers. With a home attendance average of 2,999, Dayton ranks 35th out of 349 DI programs.
