WILLIAMBURG, Va. – After a strong opening round, the University of Dayton men's golf team is tied for second place out of 24 teams at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate The Flyers are tied with Penn State after shooting a 287 (+7) as a team.

Tripp French is leading the Flyers after shooting a 71 (+1) on the first day of action.

Brendan Keating and
Ryan Flick are not far behind French, as all three players carded a round of 72 (+2).
