#UDMGOLF HAS STRONG OPENING ROUND AT THE KINGSMILL INTERCOLLEGIATE

The Flyers are tied for second place.

WILLIAMBURG, Va. – After a strong opening round, the University of Dayton men's golf team is tied for second place out of 24 teams at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate  The Flyers are tied with Penn State after shooting a 287 (+7) as a team.

Sophomore Tripp French is leading the Flyers after shooting a 71 (+1) on the first day of action. Nick Paxson, Brendan Keating and Ryan Flick are not far behind French, as all three players carded a round of 72 (+2).

Dayton Results:
  • Tripp French is tied for 14th place after shooting a round of 71 (+1).
  • Nick Paxson is tied for 23rd place after shooting a round of 72 (+2).
  • Brendan Keating is tied for 23rd place after shooting a round of 72 (+2).
  • Ryan Flick is tied for 23rd place after shooting a round of 72 (+2).
  • Thomas Goss is tied for 116th place after shooting a round of 81 (+11).

Up Next:
The second round of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate will begin on Monday at 9:00 a.m. However, the Flyers aren't scheduled to tee-off until 10:58 a.m. Live stats are not available, but the results will be posted to daytonflyers.com after the second round has concluded.
