Box Score FAIRBORN, Ohio – The University of Dayton softball team wrapped up its season series against Wright State University on Wednesday night, falling to the Raiders 8-0 at WSU Softball Field.
Scoring BreakdownBottom 1st – Wright State took advantage of two Dayton errors, scoring three unearned runs to jump ahead of the Flyers, 3-0.
Bottom 2nd – After two quick outs in the frame, the Raiders capitalized on three walks and drove home another three runs to double their lead, 6-0.
Bottom 3rd – WSU scored another unearned run to spread their lead to 7-0.
Bottom 4th – The Raiders got a leadoff triple to start the inning and got a groundout to push the game to 8-0.
