DAYTON BASEBALL POWERS TO 5-1 WIN OVER HIGH POINT

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The University of Dayton baseball team picked up its first win of the season on Sunday with a 5-1 victory over High Point.

The win ended the Flyers (1-8) losing skid and the nine-game road stand to start the season.

  • Top of 2nd – Dayton took a 1-0 lead after freshman Pat Meehan hit an RBI single to left in his first collegiate at-bat. Dayton 1, High Point 0
