MUNCIE, Ind. - After three complete rounds, the University of Dayton men's golf team took third place out of 12 teams at the third annual Earl Yestingsmeier Memorial Invitational hosted by Ball State. The Flyers posted a three-round total of 366-366-364=1096 (+46) and were led by sophomore
Brendan Keating who tied for fifth place out of 72 participants with his rounds of 74-74-68=216 (+6).
Host Ball State took top team honors while Wright State's Ryan Wenzler was the individual medalist.
The two-day event was held at the Delaware Country Club and played at par 70 and 6,438 yards. Six players competed for each team with five best scores counting. Competing in the Memorial were Ball State, Ball State (B), Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, IPFW, IUPUI, Loyola Chicago, Oakland, Ohio (B), Valparaiso and Wright State.
