LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The University of Dayton women's golf team finished the first round of the 2016 MAAC Championship in fourth place out of eight teams competing with a 324 (+36) composite score. The Flyers were led by senior Amalia Emma with a team-low round of 78, who recorded two birdies on the afternoon.

The Championship is being played at Disney's Magnolia Course at par 72 and 6,021 yards.

Quinnipiac leads the field with a team score of 311 (+23) while Monmouth is in second place with a 319 (+31), just five shots ahead of Dayton.
