ORLANDO, Fla. - Behind the one-under-par play of freshman
Ryan Flick, the University of Dayton men's golf team finished the first round of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship in a tie for first place. The Flyers posted a team score of 294 (+6) and Flick's 71 (-1) is tied for first place.
Dayton is tied with Richmond (294, +6) and two-time defending A-10 Champion VCU is in third place (298, +10). As a team, the Flyers carded 14 birdies on the day, including five from Flick.
