DAYTON BASEBALL BLANKS BUTLER TUESDAY, 3-0

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team held off Butler University on Tuesday to pick up a 3-0 win at home.

The Flyers (8-20) get back to their winning ways with the shutout as the Bulldogs (8-20) suffered their 20th loss of the season.

SCORING BREAKDOWN
  • Bottom of 2nd – The Flyers took a 1-0 lead after loading the bases with nobody out before a double-play 6-4-3 resulted in Cam Silva scoring from third. Dayton 1, Butler 0
  • Bottom of 4th – Dayton doubled its lead after loading the bases before Robbie Doring was hit by a pitch to plate the Flyers' second run. Dayton 2, Butler 0
