DAYTON BASEBALL FALLS AT GEORGE MASON

The Patriots scored eight runs in the seventh inning.

FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell to the George Mason Patriots on Saturday afternoon, 8-2. The game had been scoreless going into the seventh inning, until George Mason scored eight runs in the bottom half of the inning.

This was the second game of a three-game series. The Flyers won the first game, 9-2, on Friday. Dayton (9-21, 2-6) will face the Patriots (10-21, 2-6) on Sunday afternoon in the series finale.
 
SCORING BREAKDOWN
  • Bottom of 7th – George Mason scored eight runs on eight hits, which included a double, followed by six singles and a home run. Dayton 0, George Mason 8.
