COACH KOSTERS ANNOUNCES 2016-2017 #UDWGOLF SCHEDULE

Flyers to host Dayton Invitational October 17-18 at NCR Country Club in Kettering

DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton women's golf head coach Sally Kosters has announced the team's 2016-17 schedule. The team will attend five outings in the fall, including Dayton's annual tournament at home, the Dayton Flyer Invitational on October 17-18. The team will kick off the spring season mid-February and will attend five outings through April, followed by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship April 21-23 in Orlando, Florida.

The Flyers will start off the year with the Youngstown State Kickoff in Boardman, Ohio on September 5-6. Next will be a trip to Batavia, Ohio for Northern Kentucky's Collegiate Classic the following week, September 12-13. Dayton will then head out of state for the Ball State Cardinal Classic in Yorktown, Indiana September 19-20.

In October, Dayton will travel to Clarksville, Tennessee for the Austin Peay Intercollegiate outing Oct. 10-11. They will finish out the fall season with the Dayton Flyer Invitational October 17-18 in Kettering, Ohio at NCR Country Club.

A month after returning from winter break, the Flyers will head to Lakewood Ranch, Florida for the Bowling Green MAC Match Play Challenge, February 13-14. From March 4-5, the team will head south again for the Dayton Hilton Head Invitational in Bluffton, S.C. Dayton will then be hitting the links March 31-April 1 for the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic in Richmond, Kentucky. The next two events will be in Indiana, first at the Indiana State Tournament April 9-10 in Terre Haute followed by the Jaguar-Crusader Invitational April 16-17 in Lebanon.

The MAAC Championship will be April 21-23 in Orlando, Florida. Last year, the team finished fourth in the conference.
