DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer team (0-3-0) lost 2-1 to Kent State (2-1-0) Sunday afternoon at Baujan Field, marking the third consecutive match the Flyers have fallen by that score.

STATS OF THE MATCH
• Dayton outshot Kent State 16-6. The Flyers also had five corner kicks while the Golden Flashes had none. 
• Both teams converted on a penalty kick (Kent State in the ninth minute and Dayton in the 66th minute). The Golden Flash scored the eventual game-winner in the 68th minute). 
• Junior Alexis Kiehl has scored a goal in all three matches this season for the Flyers.

• 66th minute – Alexis Kiehl scored on a penalty kick (Dayton 1, Kent State 1)

KENT STATE GOALS
• Ninth minute – Jenna Hellstrom scored her second goal of the season; this one on a PK. (Kent State 1, Dayton 0)
• 68th minute – Maddie Lavigna sent a ball over the top across the field and found Hellstrom wide open. Hellstrom controlled it and chipped it in. (Kent State 2, Dayton 1)
