DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team picked up a 3-1 (19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-17) win over Miami (Ohio) in the team's home opener. Prior to the match, Hausfeld Court was dedicated and blessed in front of a packed house. Junior
Amber Erhahon led the Flyers with a career-high 20 kills while swinging at a .600 clip.
Dayton improved to 4-0 on the season while Miami fell to 1-3 overall.

Jane Emmenecker recorded the team's only double-double of the match with 49 assists and 13 digs.

Margo Wolf passed a career-high 31 digs and junior
Maggie Schutter got under a career-high 28 digs.
• As a team, Dayton tallied 60 kills to Miami's 49 and the Flyers passed 92 digs to the RedHawks' 75.
• The RedHawks were led by Mackenzie Zielinski with 25 assists and 13 digs.

The Flyers will remain at home this weekend to host the Dayton Invitational Sept. 2-3 at Frericks Center. Dayton will host Xavier, Northwestern and Chattanooga over the two-day event.
