INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Dayton volleyball team extended its season-opening winning streak to 11 with a 3-0 (25-22, 27-25, 25-19) win at IUPUI on Tuesday night. Junior

Lauren Bruns each tallied 12 kills to lead the Flyers.
Dayton moves to 11-0 on the season, the program's best start since 2007. IUPUI falls to 4-8 overall.
STATS OF THE MATCH
• Erhahon recorded 12 kills to one error in 15 attempts for a career-high .733 hitting percentage for the match. Bruns also had 12 kills to go with two blocks and two service aces.
• Junior Jane Emmenecker posted the team's only double-double with a match-high 41 assists and 15 digs while sophomore Margo Wolf was the team's leading passer with a match-high 19 digs.
• Freshman Jamie Peterson had an all-around match with eight kills, five digs, five blocks and two service aces. Sophomore Kendyll Brown tallied a match-high six blocks for UD.
• IUPUI was led by Kori Waelbroeck with a match-high 16 kills and Alexis Mapes posted a 26-assist, 14-dig double-double for the Jaguars.
UP NEXT
Dayton returns home for the weekend to host the Flyer Classic Sept. 16-17. UD will welcome Loyola Marymount, Southern Illinois and Youngstown State to Frericks Center. There will be six total matches over the two-day event and admission is free.
