FLYERS DRAW WITH BOWLING GREEN

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's soccer team drew with Bowling Green on Tuesday night on the road.

The Flyers (2-4-1) and the Falcons (5-2-1) both picked up their first draws on the season.

SCORING BREAKDOWN
  • 67th Minute – Dayton 1, BGSU 0 – Freshman Rok Taneski scored his second goal of the season after stealing the ball and making a stellar individual run, firing from 20-yards out for the go-ahead score.
  • 73rd Minute – Dayton 1, BGSU 1 – Chris Brennan slotted home a deflection off a throw-in to tie the game up at 1-1.
KEY STATS
  • The Flyers were out-shot in the first half, 7-2. Dayton rebounded in the second half and overtime, finishing with 15 shots compared to BGSU's 18 shots.
  • Taneski led the Flyers with the goal on eight shot attempts.
  • Sophomore Kennedy Nwabia chipped in four shots as well.
