BATAVIA, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished the first day of the NKU Fall Classic in first place out of 17 teams with scores of 284 and 283 to sit at one-under-par 567, nine strokes ahead of the next team.
Senior Nick Paxson leads the Flyers with a score of 70-69=139 (-3) and is tied for first place with Oakland's Marc Norton. Paxson carded seven birdies on the day.
