DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team dispatched visiting La Salle in straight sets, 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-14), Sunday afternoon at Frericks Center. Senior Jessica Sloan and junior Lauren Bruns each tallied 11 kills in the win for UD.

With the win, the Flyers improve to 11-6 overall and 3-0 in Atlantic 10 action while the Explorers fall to 9-10 on the season and 0-4 in league play.

KEY STATS
- Junior Kendyll Brown recorded a .700 hitting percentage for the match with her eight kills to one error in 10 attempts
- Senior Jane Emmenecker tallied a match-high 26 assists and collected two kills on four attempts for a .500 hitting percentage
- Junior Margo Wolf passed a match-high 17 digs and Sloan was the team's leading blocker with four assisted stuffs
- Dayton out-hit La Salle .340 to .186
- The Explorers were led by Samantha Graver who also tallied 11 kills while Jensen Sharrits got under 12 digs
