DAYTON - With a career-high 13 kills, sophomore
Mackenzie Weaver led all attackers as University of Dayton volleyball downed visiting George Mason, 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-17) Friday night at Frericks Center.
With the win, the Flyers improve to 16-6 overall and remain unbeaten in Atlantic 10 action (7-0) while the Patriots fall to 6-15 on the season and 2-6 in league play.
KEY STATS
- Weaver posted an all-around match with a .440 hitting percentage, four digs, two blocks and a service ace to go with her 13 kills
- Junior Kendyll Brown was swinging efficiently with seven kills to zero errors in eight attempts for an. 875 hitting percentage
- Senior Amber Erhahon was the second Flyer in double-digit kills with 11 and junior Margo Wolf got under a match-high 16 digs
- For the match, Dayton out-hit George Mason .378 to .105 and the Flyers recorded 47 kills to the Patriots' 24
- George Mason was led by Sydney Fanoga with six kills and Catie Espinoza with 14 digs

Dayton will remain at home to close out the weekend Sunday against George Washington. First serve between the Flyers and Colonials is set for 1 p.m. at Frericks Center for Community Day. Admission is free.
