Jake Gilkison led the Flyers tied for 24th place.
The two-day event was played at the Firestone Country Club on the North Course at par 72 and 7,125 yards. Illinois State took home top team honors with a score of 282-282-295=859 (-5) while Cincinnati's Austin Spires won medalist honors with his score of 71-65-72=208 (-8).

Dayton returns to action this coming Sunday at the Fighting Irish Gold Classic hosted by Notre Dame. The event is being held at the Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Indiana, Oct. 8-9.
