HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished in a tie for 11th place after the final round of the Wexford Intercollegiate Tuesday. Senior
Caleb Wolters surged ahead 23 spots to lead the Flyers with his final scores 75-80-71=226 (+10, t-29th). As a team, the Flyers posted a three-round total of 305-304-298=907 (+43).
Gardner-Webb took home top team honors while Radford's Myles Creighton was the tournament's medalist with his score of 71-73-68=212 (-4).
The two-day event was held at Wexford Plantation, an Arnold Palmer signature course, measuring 6,913 yards and is a par-72 layout. Francis Marion played host to the event.
