DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's golf team will participate in the Eastern Kentucky University Colonel Classic on Friday and Saturday at the University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Ky.

Teams will play 36 holes on Friday beginning with an 8:30am shotgun start, and finish the competition with 18 holes on Saturday with a 9am shotgun start.

The two-day tournament will be played on a par 72 course totaling 5,889 yards.

Participating teams include Eastern Kentucky, Tennessee Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, Austin Peay, Belmont, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Ball State, Cleveland State, Youngstown State, University of the Cumberlands, and Dayton.

In last year's EKU Colonel Classic, the Flyers finished in 11
th place with a two-day team score of 981.

This year, Dayton is coming off a 2
nd place finish in the Dayton Hilton Head Invitational followed by a few weeks of practice and are eager to get back into competitive play.
