MUNCIE, Ind. - The University of Dayton men's golf team jumped three spots during the final round of the Earl Yestingsmeier Memorial Invitational to finish in fourth (371-364-361=1096  +46). The Flyers' Brendan Keating shot up 31 places with his final-round score of 69 as Dayton's top finisher at 17th place. The two-day event hosted by Ball State was held at Delaware Country Club at par 70 and 6,438 yards.

Ball State's third-round score of 355 was the tournament low, boosting them ahead of Eastern Kentucky by one stroke to claim the event title (362-358-355=1075  +25). BSU's Michael VanDeventer (70-71-67=208  -2) and Taylor University's Alec Dutkowski 66-70-72=208  -2) tied for medalist honors.
