ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Dayton men's golf team is in fourth place after the first round of play at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championship. Junior Brendan Keating paced the Flyers' first-round team score of 283 (-5) with his three-under-par score of 69.

The three-day event is being held at Grand Cypress Resort on the New Course at par 72 and 6,794 yards.

George Washington and Richmond are currently tied for first place with a score of 273 (-15) while there is also a tie at the top individually between the Colonials' Vince Palazzo and the Spiders' Zack Justice.
