NORMAL, Ill. – The University of Dayton fell flat in game two of the weekend's three game series at Illinois State, dropping the game 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at Duffy Bass Field

- With one out in a tie game in the home half of the seventh, catcher Collin Braithwaite lined a single to left field to drive home his third run of the game and put Illinois State ahead. They would tack on another run and keep that 4-2 lead to the end.
